Alexi Layton’s practice is focused on defending companies in product liability, mass tort, premise liability, negligence, and warranty cases. Alexi has defended a diverse range of products, including vehicles, recreational vehicles, escalators and elevators, aviation products, piping products, industrial masks, motorcycles, refrigerators, consumer products, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and others. Notably, Alexi was a member of the trial team for a high-stakes, 3-month, $2 billion-dollar trial in Oakland, California in the spring of 2019, and most recently, was the second chair in a premises liability action involving a major retailer in Brighton, Colorado in April 2022 that resulted in a complete defense verdict for her client.
